The Swedish National Debt Office (Kammarkollegiet) acts as a capital manager, insurance company, procurer, and legal firm for the state administration. Among our many assignments from the Riksdag and the Government is to insure state activities. The Insurance Department of the Swedish National Debt Office functions as the state's insurance company, where we work with risk management and claims handling for state authorities and foundations. Our operations cover the insurance areas of personal, travel, business, and vehicles, totaling around 30 different insurance products.

The Insurance Department of the Swedish National Debt Office has approximately 45 employees, organized into three units and a support staff. We have a new activity-based office in central Karlstad. A comprehensive digitalization of the entire operation is underway, which involves changes to our internal working methods and the development of e-services for our customers.

We are now looking for an Insurance Case Worker for the administrative unit, where you, together with five colleagues, will serve as the contact point for our insured organizations and work with handling orders and administering our insurance contracts.

Job Description

The position involves responsibility for insurance contracts, handling insurance orders, answering questions, and ensuring our information is kept up to date. It also involves entering and updating data in registers, etc. You will work fully digitally. The role involves a wide variety of questions and varying volumes of incoming work.

In the role of Insurance Case Worker, you work with all of our 30+ insurance products regarding the extension and new signing of insurance contracts. You answer questions and provide advice to our customers. The work involves significant customer contact, which requires you to be service-oriented and communicative.

We are at a stage where we are reviewing and developing our working methods and system support. You will become an active part of this work, which requires the ability to see solutions and actively contribute to the development of the business.

Are you our new colleague?

We are looking for you who have:

• A university or college degree, preferably within the social sciences
• Several years of work experience in service-oriented tasks and confidence in handling orders and applications in a workflow with significant customer contact.
• Experience working in various business systems and very good knowledge of the Office package
• Very good ability to communicate in writing as well as experience working with formal written correspondence
• Good knowledge of English

Experience of working with contract management, for example within the insurance sector, is an advantage for the position.

As a person, you are driven, meticulous, and quality-conscious with a focus on delivering on time. You have very good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with colleagues, but also have the ability to work independently to solve joint tasks. It is important that you have a positive attitude in contacts and communication. You are good at analyzing data and seeing opportunities for improvement.

Start date by agreement. The employment is permanent, starting with a six-month probationary period.
