RESPONSIBILITIES

We have an employee who will be on leave, so we are looking for a proactive temporary replacement for a few months, with a possible extension. You will be responsible for the daily management and direct operation of the clinic. You will work in a team with veterinarians and nurses. You will report directly to a clinic manager located in another city.

The District Veterinarians in Säffle are also in the middle of planning a relocation, which will require high demands on organization, planning, and flexibility in the role of team leader.

Customer care is important to us, and you will have significant responsibility to ensure, together with the clinic manager and staff, that it is easy for people to contact us so we can help more animals. Customer communication in various forms will therefore be an important part of the work.

As a team leader, you are self-reliant and take responsibility for your tasks while also being collaborative and seeing the value in our collective strength. You are also good at making correct assessments and prioritizations, and using these, you have no problem making the right decisions at the right time.

Your decision-making framework is set by the clinic manager, from whom you can always receive support and advice.

You should enjoy being part of an event-driven operation and be able to adapt to what the situation requires. As a person, you easily put yourself in others' perspectives without taking over their emotions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Very good computer and system skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
  • At least two years of continuous full-time work experience.
  • Category B driver's license.

As a person, you should be structured, solution-oriented, and have good skills in planning and prioritizing. You thrive in supporting and leading others, collaborate well, and communicate in a secure and empathetic manner. Furthermore, you are flexible, meticulous, and can prioritize and handle different tasks as well as make decisions.

Experience from animal healthcare or other service-oriented work is meritorious. We also view positively experience in occupational health and safety, leadership, and continuous improvement work. If you have previously worked with meeting people in crisis or vulnerable situations, it is an advantage. Experience from customer service, communication centers, or similar operations where service, simultaneous capacity, and empathetic handling are central values are also valued.

Selection and interviews take place continuously during the advertising period.

We warmly welcome your application!
