We are delighted that you are interested in working for Kil Municipality. We have approximately 1,000 employees working to provide good service to around 12,000 residents. It is important to us that you see every person as an individual and that, together with your colleagues, you strive to create a welcoming environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and develop. You are not satisfied with just being good; you want to become even better. You keep an eye on the external environment and make the changes required to meet the future in a good way. This is exactly what our vision, "Kil – on the right track," is about. We strive to be on the right track but must always be ready to try new paths to get there. We welcome your application!
The Elderly Sector in Kil Municipality is responsible for elderly care. The sector is also responsible for the delivery of all municipal health and medical care, rehabilitation, memory teams, day activities, and support for relatives.
Description
Do you have a passion for development within healthcare and social care and want to make a real difference? We are looking for a driven and engaged Development Manager who wants to strengthen the strategic and operational development work of the Elderly Sector. Here you will have the opportunity to influence both at the sector and unit levels.
Kil has an administration where the organization is divided into sectors, and the Elderly Sector collaborates with all other sectors.
Responsibilities
Together with the management team and other working groups, you will identify development needs and implement development initiatives by taking a central role in systematic quality work at both the sector and unit levels.
You plan, lead, and follow up on plans and identified areas for development in close collaboration with the sector manager, unit managers, the social responsibility coordinator, the responsible nurse, and the responsible rehabilitation nurse.
Your assignment includes monitoring the external environment to keep the sector and units updated regarding current research in development areas, new guidelines and regulations, and changes in laws that require restructuring.
Qualifications
You should have a relevant university degree, such as in Leadership and Business Development within Healthcare and Social Care, Project Management, or Financial Management, and have experience leading development processes within healthcare and social care. You have a good understanding of both the sector's mission and the challenges faced by the units related to this. Experience in similar roles as a Development Manager is an advantage.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You must be able to work both strategically and operationally. You have the ability to analyze, identify, and take initiative for improvements, as well as drive development areas forward. You have a coaching approach.
As a person, you are unpretentious, a good listener, and have the ability to build trusting relationships. Furthermore, you are communicative in both speech and writing and have the ability to convey complex issues in a simple and understandable way.
Conditions
A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required prior to any employment.
To ensure quality in the recruitment process in Kil Municipality and to enable good communication with our applicants, we ask you to submit your application via the provided link (not by email or in paper format).
