Are you skilled at structuring, coordinating, and collaborating? We are looking for a new colleague for the parish office in the Forshaga-Munkfors parish. Here, you will have a key role and become one of our faces to the outside world, as well as providing internal support. You are welcome to an operation characterized by engagement, high competence, and collaboration.
The Forshaga-Munkfors parish is located in a fantastic environment where the Klarälven river flows from Munkfors in the north to Forshaga in the south. Along the Klarälven line, you can cycle through Ransäter, Övre Ullerud, and Nedre Ullerud. National Road 62 takes you quickly to the different parts of the parish. Forshaga-Munkfors parish consists of two municipalities located north of Karlstad, with a total of approximately 15,000 residents, of whom approximately 11,000 belong to the church. There are five churches with associated cemeteries, as well as parish halls or village halls located close by.
Responsibilities:
- Contact with parish members, relatives, and colleagues.
- Receiving visitors and handling the telephone exchange and functional mailboxes.
- Administrating church documents.
- Booking premises, activities, and ceremonies, and handling registration lists.
- Administrating the church's member register.
- Work with the parish's archive, diary, and mail handling.
- Ongoing statistical reporting.
Qualifications:
We are looking for you who have good experience in administration, are computer literate, and enjoy being the face of the organization. You work independently and with engagement, and you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as well as communicate in English. We see that you are a flexible, structured, and outgoing person. To succeed in the role, you need to have good prioritization skills and be able to work efficiently despite interruptions. You should be solution-oriented, service-minded, and have good administrative structure and attention to detail.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are social by nature, have an easy time collaborating, while being engaged and independently handling and completing your tasks. We assume that you share the values of the Church of Sweden and hold a B driving license.
Merits:
- Experience of similar work in the Church of Sweden and/or in trust-based organizations and municipalities.
- Experience working with archives, diaries, and GDPR.
- Experience with the systems Public 360, Telia Touchpoint+, Microsoft 365, and the Church of Sweden's own systems.
- Knowledge of writing minutes (may occur as needed).
The position requires that you are confident in using IT systems in daily work, for example for administration, documentation, and planning. You have good knowledge of the Office package and strong administrative skills that help you work in a structured and efficient manner.

We offer occupational health care and an annual fitness allowance. The work is done with flexible hours, and evening and weekend work may occur on occasional occasions. The main location of the position is in Forshaga, but work occurs throughout the parish.
Start date: By agreement.
The position is a permanent full-time position. We apply a probationary period.
