Stöcke School is a preschool to year 6 school located one mile south of Umeå in an old agricultural area. Nature and the own school forest are close by, and the opportunities for outdoor pedagogy are excellent. Here you will find well-educated and experienced staff. We are now looking for a comprehensive school teacher for instruction in Swedish, Social Studies (SO), and English!

Employment Information

The position is a permanent part-time position, 70%, starting 2026-08-10.

Your Responsibilities

You will plan and conduct teaching for our students in grades 4–6 in Swedish, Social Studies (SO), and English.

In collaboration with the work team and colleagues, you are responsible for driving and developing the pedagogical work with the curriculum and municipal goals as a guide. Contact and cooperation with parents is also an important part of the work.

About You

You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, structure, and context for all students. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents. You differentiate and vary the teaching based on the students' needs. You share your knowledge and experiences to contribute to collegial learning. An important part of the teacher's role is to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Requirements

• Educated comprehensive school teacher for grades 4–6 with eligibility for Swedish, Social Studies (SO), and English.
• Has or has applied for teacher certification.
• Experience working in comprehensive school.
• Unhindered skills in the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as good skills in English.
• Valid extract from the criminal record register.
