In this role, you are the first point of contact for the organization's users and are responsible for ensuring the fast, efficient, and professional handling of incoming cases. You will play a central role in creating a stable and well-functioning IT support where the user experience is always in focus.
Responsibilities
- Act as the central entry point for all IT support cases
- Answer incoming calls and register incidents and cases
- Monitor the service desk and ensure cases are handled in a timely manner
- Allocate cases to the correct team or technician
- Follow up with users if additional information is needed
- Drive cases forward and keep users continuously informed
- Resolve cases within first-line support according to defined areas
- Communicate clearly regarding incidents and operational disruptions
- Order and manage IT equipment (computers, accessories, printers)
- Install and prepare workstations for new users
- Document recurring problems and solutions in the knowledge base
We are looking for someone who
- Has 1–2 years of experience in IT support or service desk
- Has a strong customer and service focus
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
- Is structured and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Has basic technical knowledge of workplace IT (e.g., Windows, hardware, networking)
- Is proactive and takes responsibility for following up and closing cases
