Knightec Group is developing the next generation of embedded and connected systems. Together with our customers, we create future-proof software and hardware solutions, ranging from real-time systems to cloud-integrated products.
We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in embedded development who wants to continue growing in their role. Here, you will work on projects spanning from classic embedded development to future solutions in device-to-cloud, an area where we are making significant investments.
Responsibilities
You will become part of the Software & Cloud business area, where we have around 180 competent and engaged colleagues in Gothenburg. We work on a wide range of assignments, from hardware-near development in real-time systems to architecture and system integration with the cloud.
You will work on projects that match your experience and interests, either in our in-house teams or at customer sites. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our device-to-cloud initiative.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of embedded software in C/C++
- Integration between embedded devices and cloud platforms
- Participation in requirements engineering, architecture, testing, and quality assurance
- Collaboration in cross-functional teams within software, hardware, and cloud

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in embedded development who wants to continue developing, both technically and personally. You enjoy working broadly and are curious.
We believe you have:
- At least 3 years of experience with C/C++ development for embedded systems
- A Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with Python
- Basic experience in requirements specification, design, and testing
- Understanding of real-time systems and hardware-near development
- Very good skills in Swedish and English
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Meritorious experience includes:
- Embedded Linux and real-time OS
- Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- CI/CD and modern toolchains
- Cyber-/cloud security
- Projects within automotive, medtech, defense, or other regulated industries

Practical Information
This is a full-time position located at our office in Gothenburg, Lindholmsallén 2. Business travel to our customers may occur. Start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.
