Do you want to work with information security and data protection in an administration with operations throughout Gothenburg?

We at the Social Services Administration Southwest work with important community-building activities within social services, public health, safety, crisis support, housing, homelessness, and HVB (residential care for children and youth). We have established a good structure for information security and data protection work and need to continue to both manage and develop these areas. Organizationally, you belong to the Property and Security unit and have close contact with the unit manager, department manager, IT development lead, and security development lead. You will also serve as the coordinating data protection contact. You will be part of the social services administration's data protection network and Gothenburg City's network for information security and data protection. In the role of Development Lead for Information Security and Data Protection, you will have a varied role at both strategic and operational levels.

The tasks include:

• Maintain and develop information security work in the administration
• Maintain and develop data protection work in the administration
• Participate in the implementation of new IT support and systems from a data protection and information security perspective
• Support operations in impact assessments, continuity management, risk assessments, controls, and incidents
• Review and produce governing and supporting documents within information security and data protection
• Educate and inform about information security and data protection in the administration
• Coordinate the administration's data protection contacts
• Keep up to date within the fields of information security and data protection
• Collaborate with other social services administrations in Gothenburg City

You will be located at Zirkongatan in an activity-based office with the possibility of working from other locations when the business allows. About you

The basic requirement is that you have a bachelor's degree or a relevant 2-year vocational higher education (YH) and previous work experience within information security and data protection. We consider it meritorious if you have worked in a politically governed organization.

You have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the framework of your assignment without being dependent on others. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward.

You convey information and ideas clearly, both orally and in writing. You ensure that your message gets through. You adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation. Since many perceive the area as complicated, you need to have good knowledge of how individuals absorb knowledge to ensure your message gets through. This presupposes that you have a very good ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both in speech and in writing.

You work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible. You contribute with a positive attitude and engagement in the team.

You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and propose possible solutions. You have the ability to see connections and draw logical conclusions from limited and/or complex information.

You have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the framework of your assignment without being dependent on others. You are accustomed to independently planning, driving, and completing processes.

The position will be filled if necessary decisions are made.

Interviews will be conducted during week 35.

The intended salary range for the position is: 45,000–55,000 SEK. The salary is based on a comprehensive assessment of your education, experience, and competencies you bring into the role. The Social Services Administration Southwest is one of four social services administrations in Gothenburg City with around 900 employees. In the Southwest urban area, approximately 120,000 residents live, and the area stretches from Billdal to Högsbohöjd and to the southern archipelago. The administration's mission is for children, young people, and adults to be able to live a safe and independent life and for children and young people to have a rich leisure time. The administration also works to support people experiencing homelessness into permanent housing.
