Your Role as Software Developer within Autonomy & Connectivity

We are now looking for experienced software developers who want to help create advanced solutions for the telecom industry and complex systems. Our focus is on developing radio base stations for various platforms, both embedded systems and cloud-based services, and our work is closely linked to leading players in telecommunications. The development includes, among other things, signaling and other functionality crucial for telecom services within 5G. We strive to optimize transmission speeds, range, and capacity for users in these systems. Additionally, we develop products for the defense industry, where technical innovation is at the center.

You will become part of an agile team that has overall responsibility for the entire product development cycle, from systems engineering and design to testing of embedded and cloud-based software systems – often in direct relation to telecom projects. We use languages and tools such as C, C++, Java, Python, and Git, and it is a positive if you have experience with more programming languages and tools and are accustomed to working in cross-functional teams. For us, good communication skills and problem-solving are particularly important, especially when working with top-level telecom solutions.

As a software developer at Combitech, you will work within the business area Autonomy and Connectivity. Here, approximately 250 people work in Gothenburg on assignments within space, satellites, telecom, defense, radar systems, mining industry, and vehicles. Our consultants are engaged both in-house in agile development teams and on-site at our customers. In this assignment, you will be part of our in-house operations, where you will develop and deliver solutions that truly impact the telecom world.

Who are you?

To thrive in the role of experienced software developer at Combitech, you need to have several years of work experience and a strong interest in technology. You also hold a university degree in engineering with a relevant focus. The assignments require good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, and proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.
