Do you want to help shape the future of education in Bollnäs Municipality? We are now looking for a passionate and engaged certified teacher for the after-school center at Björktjära School, who wants to help lead the development of our comprehensive schools. Here you will have the opportunity to make a difference for the students and be an important part of an inspiring work team.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher, you will teach at the after-school center at Björktjära School. In addition to teaching, you will plan, conduct, evaluate, and analyze the pedagogical work in accordance with the curriculum and current regulatory documents.

In the after-school center, you work to create a meaningful and developmental activity where students are given the opportunity to develop their social skills, creativity, sense of responsibility, and independence. Through varied activities such as creative work, play, movement, outdoor life, digital competence, and value-based work, you stimulate the students' learning and development both individually and in groups.

You contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment where students feel included and part of a community. The after-school center's activities are an important complement to the school's teaching and take advantage of the students' interests, experiences, and needs.

Through cooperation with other staff at the school, you will also work for the school's development and strive to create a good environment for both students and staff. You collaborate with teachers, student health services, and guardians to support the students' learning, well-being, and development throughout the school day.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with eligibility for teaching in after-school centers. Great importance is placed on personality suitability, ability to cooperate with students, guardians, and other adults, and generally being a good role model. Since you will be part of a work team together with colleagues, we see that you are a person with good responsibility and cooperation skills.
