Description

Vallsta School is currently seeking a certified teacher on a temporary contract to strengthen the teaching of Swedish and Mathematics in grades 1 and 2. The position is a full-time temporary role from August 2026 to December 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Vallsta School is a preschool class to grade 6 school with approximately 90 students. All classrooms are spacious and large, with associated group rooms. The school has its own gymnasium. The school's after-school staff is engaged both in their collaborative tasks and in the after-school activities. Since the school is relatively small, we have age-integrated classes and shared mentorship in most groups. Responsibilities

In addition to teaching, you will plan, conduct, evaluate, and analyze the pedagogical work in accordance with the curriculum and current regulatory documents. Through collaboration with other staff at the school, you will also work towards the school's development and strive to create a good environment for both students and staff.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and qualified to teach in grades preschool class to 3. You are flexible, positive, enthusiastic, proactive, and work with high expectations for the goals. Great importance is placed on personality suitability, the ability to collaborate with students, guardians, and other adults, as well as being a good role model in other respects. Since you will be part of a work team together with colleagues, we see that you are a person with good responsibility and collaboration skills.
