We have approximately 520 students and are a work group of about 70 people. We have a strong student health service at the school consisting of school counselors, school nurses, special needs educators, special teachers, and school psychologists. The position is a parental leave substitute for approximately one year.

Job Description
As a primary school teacher and mentor with us, you are an important part of the student's school journey. You get to make a difference every day! You teach several subjects in grades 4-6 and adapt your teaching based on grade level, students' different knowledge levels, needs, and prerequisites. Your work includes planning and conducting teaching according to the current curriculum, evaluating, and assessing the teaching. You are communicative and create good relationships with both students and guardians.
In your role, you work in close collaboration with other teachers where you plan and assess together.
We actively work to support and motivate students in their development, both socially and academically. Your ability to motivate each student and adapt the teaching is crucial for success.
Qualifications
You have a teacher's degree and teacher certification with eligibility to teach in grades 4-6 in Swedish, Mathematics, English, and preferably in Social Studies (SO) and/or Natural Sciences (NO). You may also have ongoing studies in a requested subject expected to be completed shortly. Previous experience of teaching according to the curriculum Lgr22 through work or student teaching (VFU) at the intermediate level and the ability to see the whole picture of the student's school situation is an advantage for succeeding in the role. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing and feel confident using IT tools in your work.
You are structured and can adapt your leadership in the classroom to the situation; you can plan and follow up on your work. You have good collaboration skills, are receptive, communicative, and have an easy time creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are a creative and idea-rich person with a great interest in crafts who wants to develop in your role as a teacher and contribute to the school's continued development.
