WORK ASSIGNMENTS

As a special needs educator at Högalidskolans lower secondary stage, you work in close collaboration with the principal and school staff. The role involves developing and designing pedagogical work at both group and individual levels, as well as at the organizational level, from a promoting, preventive, and remedial perspective, in collaboration with the principal. You will support educators in structuring their teaching so that education becomes accessible, inclusive, and fosters participation for all children.

You act as a support and advocate for the work teams, particularly regarding the need for pedagogical mapping/action plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a degree in special needs education or other education assessed as equivalent by the employer. As a person, you should be communicative, relationship-building, and able to see development opportunities in both children and adults. You must have the ability to analyze opportunities at the organizational, group, and individual levels. We expect you to have experience and the ability to collaborate with others and flexibly meet different needs in the operation. You should be creative and willing to find solutions where the best interests of the children are in focus. We place great importance on personal suitability.
