Hello! Are you our new colleague?
We are now looking for a resource staff member for Fjälldalens Preschool.
Fjälldalens Preschool is a preschool with six departments where nature and the mountain are close by, opened in January 2025. We are looking for you who want to join a wonderful group of colleagues and work as a resource staff member within a team. At the preschool, we meet our children in their first education and their first steps in lifelong learning, and as a resource staff member, you are important. We are looking for you who are engaged and want to work with children in need of special support.

Job Responsibilities
The role as a resource staff member means you will be an additional person in the work team so that the preschool can meet the needs of children requiring special support. You are part of the preschool's work team, and together you design a secure, stimulating, and developmental education and learning environment for the children, guided by the curriculum (Lpfö18) which describes the work and education the preschool offers. Together, the work team designs the education so that children in need of special support receive the support and challenges they need for their development, and are stimulated and developed in their play and learning.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are trained as a preschool teacher (barnskötare) and who have good experience in working with children in need of special support.
It is important that:
- you are familiar with our governing document, the Preschool Curriculum (Lpfö18),
- you are a secure and clear leader, take initiative, are positive, and trust in the children's various competencies,
- you have a solution-focused approach, are flexible and innovative,
- you value trusting relationships with children and guardians, and have good cooperation skills,
- you use visual supports and TAKK (Signs as Alternative and Augmented Communication).
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the position. Great importance will be attached to personal qualities and suitability.
- Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.

Working Hours/Duration
Full-time (100%) – fixed-term employment during the autumn term 2026. With the possibility of extension.
