Your responsibilities

Teaching in Finnish. You are part of the Modern Languages subject group, and together you plan and develop the teaching.

We are looking for

You who are a certified teacher in Finnish for grades 7–9. Being a teacher and professional pedagogue at Manhemsskolan means that you have high expectations and a belief that all students can achieve success based on their conditions.

We are looking for you who have the ability to motivate and create engagement while also being a clear leader. You are confident in yourself and through your way of leading and organizing, you create a safe and educational classroom situation. We are convinced that order, clarity, and transparency combined with sensitivity and care bring out the best in our students. Good judgment and high integrity are important as we want you to be an adult role model for the students.

We are looking for you who are communicative and have the ability to create trusting relationships with both colleagues and students, guardians, and other actors around the student. Your pedagogical strength is that you have the ability to adapt teaching based on results, evaluations, and the individual student's needs. To achieve this, you need to have a good understanding of how different people absorb information and knowledge, as well as the ability to adapt your teaching method at both group and individual levels.

We are looking for you who are aware of your own impact on students' learning. By taking advantage of students' interests, you make the teaching interesting, and in the meeting with students, you develop yourself and your role as a teacher.
