Do you want to help create a meaningful and secure leisure time for our students?

We are now looking for two dedicated and creative leisure-time educators (fritidspedagoger) or teachers for the leisure-time center (fritidshem) to join our team at Christinaskolan F-6 in Piteå.

Job Responsibilities

As a leisure-time educator or teacher for the leisure-time center, you work to support students' development through play, creativity, and social interaction. You are an important part of the school's holistic approach and collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to create an stimulating environment both during and after school hours.

The role involves developing and driving pedagogical work in our leisure-time activities, together with other educators.

The leisure-time center's mission is to complement education in preschool class and school, where you stimulate the student's development and learning while offering them a meaningful leisure time. You will also support students during lessons and in various activities during the school day. Contact and cooperation with guardians is also an important part of the job.

Qualifications

• Education as a leisure-time educator or teacher with a focus on leisure-time centers, or other pedagogical education.
• Experience working with school-aged children is an advantage.
• Good teamwork skills and a solution-oriented approach to work.
• Creativity, initiative, and a strong commitment to children and young people.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with both internal and external partners, such as guardians.
• We are also interested in candidates with other pedagogical education that can be considered equivalent.

Permanent position, full-time. Working hours: Daytime.

Start date: According to agreement.

In the heart of Piteå, close to the library, museum, art hall, and sports arenas, you will find Christinaskolan – an F-9 school where approx. 820 students attend and 100 dedicated employees create a place for learning, development, and security every day.

From preschool class to grade 9, our students grow in an environment that encourages them to think: I can – I want – I dare. In the lower primary school, we have approx. 140 students and a strong teaching team of just over 20 people.
