Responsibilities

You will teach at the lower secondary level (grades 4–6). You will collaborate closely with other teachers at the school and after-school center staff. In addition, you will:

• serve as a class teacher and mentor for a class
• be responsible for teaching in some of the following subjects: mathematics, science and technology (NO), social studies (SO), Swedish, English
• plan, conduct, assess, and document your teaching
• work together with other teachers to ensure students have a positive and meaningful school day focused on knowledge development and social skills

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach grades 4–6 in some of the subjects: mathematics, science and technology (NO), social studies (SO), Swedish, English.

Eligibility in multiple subjects is meritorious. Previous experience is meritorious.

• You can work independently, have good social skills, and are responsible and engaged.
• You have a positive and professional attitude towards students, parents, and colleagues.
• You demonstrate good leadership with a clear lesson structure, clear expectations, and the ability to build good relationships.
• You are flexible and can adapt when the needs of the operations change.

Employment Terms

Type of employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.
