RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged teacher for Giron Sámeskuvla.

The position involves planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with the curriculum and the school's governing documents. The teaching may cover several subjects within lower and middle school based on your qualifications and the needs of the operation.

You work to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where students are given good conditions to develop and achieve their goals.

You actively participate in the school's development work and collaborate closely with colleagues, student health services, and guardians. Together with other staff, you contribute to developing the operation and creating a positive school environment for the students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a teacher's degree and a valid teaching license for instruction in compulsory school.

It is meritorious if you have the qualification to teach several subjects within lower or middle school.

Knowledge of Sami languages and good knowledge of Sami culture is meritorious.

You have a positive view of people and good ability to build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are responsible, flexible, solution-focused, and have the ability to adapt teaching to the students' needs.

We are looking for you who have a documented good ability to collaborate. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

• Salary form: Monthly salary.
• Employment type: Permanent employment.
• Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-13. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
