The Resource Centre within the Employment and Education Administration is a support function for schools in Luleå Municipality and covers native language, multilingualism, student health, Cultural School, and meal service. The Resource Centre is led by a division manager. The different units are led by unit managers. This is one of Luleå's most exciting and multicultural workplaces. The Resource Centre specifically monitors the rights of national minorities within the Employment and Education Administration. Luleå Municipality is the administrative area for Meänkieli, Sami, and Finnish. The Resource Centre enriches and strengthens the work with children's and students' education. We work with promoting and preventive measures with learning and development through:

- Language and identity
- Culture and aesthetics
At the Resource Centre/Native Language, we provide native language instruction and study guidance in native language in approximately 20 languages in primary and upper secondary school, as well as native language support in national minority languages in preschool and preschool class.

DUTIES
You will work as a native language teacher in primary school and, if necessary, also in upper secondary school. Service as a study guide in native language may occur in primary and upper secondary school.
Your workplace will be the different school units and the different school forms where children and students are located. Your teaching will take place in the form of remote teaching and on-site teaching, and if necessary, also as central teaching. Upon employment, you will undergo an introductory training regarding your duties. You will receive ongoing support in your professional role through various support functions at the workplace. You are part of a work team with colleagues in different languages, and you meet for, among other things, collegial collaboration and collegial learning.

To be offered the position of native language teacher in Luleå Municipality, you need to be present in Luleå where the teaching mainly takes place at the different school units. Remote teaching is also conducted on-site in Luleå.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a Swedish teaching license with eligibility for native language instruction. You have very good knowledge of Swedish corresponding to Swedish 3/Swedish as a second language 3 or Swedish B/Swedish as a second language B. You should be able to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
The language the application concerns should be your native language, and you should have very good knowledge of the language in speech and writing. By native language is meant here the language you have as your daily interaction language and that you have lived and worked in cultures and societies where the native language is spoken. The position may include a task to have study guidance in the native language. You therefore have good language and subject knowledge in the native language and Swedish in social studies, natural sciences, and mathematics.
You have work experience from the Swedish school system and are familiar with the Education Act and the curricula for the different school forms. You can adapt and vary your teaching. You are motivated by working on language, culture, and identity development.
You are a good leader in the classroom and can create trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and management. You are flexible, easy to collaborate with, and independent. You are positive to new ideas and ways of working and want to constantly develop your teaching with learning in focus. We will place great importance on your personal suitability. You can prove your qualities with good references.
If you lack a teaching license but have the above-mentioned competence and other academic education, you are still welcome to apply as there may be an opportunity for fixed-term employment according to the Education Act in some cases.
We will, upon employment, proceed from the best possibility for continuity, stability, and long-term sustainability in the operations.
Extent of employment: Japanese 10%, fixed-term employment 260813 - 261222 with possibility of extension.
The position will be filled provided that the need remains.
