If you are passionate about creating value through data engineering and high-quality system solutions, this is the role for you!

About the job
As a System Developer at Masterdata in LFAB, you will become a key person in the development, maintenance, and improvement of our central platforms and integrations. You will primarily work with .NET (C#, .NET Core), SQL Server, and Python, contributing to both new projects and the further development of existing solutions. The role involves close collaboration with the business, data engineers, and IT functions to ensure high data quality, information security, and regulatory compliance. You will have the opportunity to drive technical improvement work and be part of the entire lifecycle of the platforms – from analysis to delivery and incident management.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and improve systems and integrations in .NET, SQL Server, and Python
  • Work with CI/CD flows and build and deployment processes in Azure DevOps
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of data warehouses, data pipelines, and ETL flows
  • Ensure high data quality, information security, and compliance
  • Write unit tests, contribute to code reviews, and drive technical improvements
  • Analyze requirements and further develop solutions together with the business
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and actively participate in backlog refinement, planning, and demos
  • Follow up on deliveries and participate in incident and change management as well as platform lifecycle management

The following will make you successful in this role:

  • Academic education in IT, computer science, system development, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in system development, preferably in a Microsoft environment (.NET, C#, SQL Server)
  • Basic experience with Python for data handling, automation, or ETL/data pipelines
  • Knowledge of Azure, Azure DevOps, and related cloud solutions
  • Experience working agilely, preferably in cross-functional teams or matrix organizations
  • Familiarity with data engineering: ETL flows, data warehouses, integrations, handling of structured data
  • Experience with API development, REST, and service-oriented architectures
  • Good understanding of data quality, information security, and compliance in system development
  • Experience with DevOps processes, code versioning (Git), and automation
  • Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Very good communication skills in English; basic Swedish.

Additional qualifications that would be meritorious include:

  • Deeper experience in Python/data engineering and advanced handling of data platforms
  • Previous work with platform and integration technologies in larger organizations

As a person, you are curious, engaged, and enjoy working in a team. You are self-motivated, analytical, and proactive, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in environments where knowledge is shared and colleagues support each other. You communicate complex technical issues in a pedagogical and clear manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
