We are looking for someone who wants to use their technical expertise to further develop how the Riksbank (Swedish Central Bank) works with data and analysis, with a focus on asset management and payments.
WHAT WE OFFER
You will have the opportunity to further develop your technical skills while deepening your knowledge of the Riksbank's areas of operation, enabling us to develop solutions that are easy to adopt and add value to the business. You will face challenges and become a key part of our transformation journey – from developing AI and automating data flows to building robust IT solutions, strengthening cyber security, and building the payment systems of the future. YOUR ROLE
The Riksbank's data and statistics on asset management and payments consist largely of micro- and transaction data. Payment statistics from financial institutions are in a development phase, meaning you will help design data flows from the ground up. You will work in an agile team with overall responsibility for your data and data products. Specifically, the role involves:

- Writing automated tests to ensure code quality and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Developing APIs to make data accessible
- Using marimo notebooks to visualize and present results
- Contributing to the development of how the Riksbank uses AI in its operations
YOUR TEAM
Your closest team members will be part of two of the Riksbank's data teams, where different competencies work side by side and learn from each other. The data team is part of the Riksbank's cross-functional business area Data and Statistics and consists of around twenty employees. Together with the data team, you will maintain close dialogue with relevant policy departments to deliver user-friendly, robust, and value-creating data and data products. Organizationally, you will belong to the Markets Department. Read more about the Riksbank's organization. (https://www.riksbank.se/en/about-the-riksbank/organisation/)

- Experience developing data flows in orchestration tools such as Dagster or similar (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
- At least 2 years of experience coding in Python or a similar programming language
- Experience handling and processing large datasets
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
In addition to the above basic requirements, the following are meritorious:
- Experience with container environments such as Podman or Kubernetes
- Experience working with data lake storage such as S3 and LakeFS
- Experience working according to DevOps principles with a focus on automation and CI/CD
- Experience from the finance or fintech industry
- Experience working agilely
We are looking for someone who is driven, responsible, quality-conscious, has good judgment, and is a good collaborator. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
