Job Description Assignment Description

We are looking for a Network and IT Security Technician for a full-time assignment where the consultant will strengthen an existing operation within the operation, management, and further development of network and firewall environments.

The assignment involves providing operational support for the daily operation of the organization's security and network infrastructure through the use of various management, monitoring, and automation tools, such as Splunk as well as products from Cisco and Check Point. The work includes monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, analysis, and actions to ensure a stable, secure, and efficient operating environment.

The role also includes participation in installation, configuration, and change work in complex network and firewall environments, especially where solutions deviate from established standards and require in-depth technical competence. The consultant is expected to contribute with technical advice, documentation, and collaboration with other technical areas to ensure purposeful and secure solutions.

Requirements for Candidate Competence

• At least 3 years of documented experience as a network technician.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
• Documented experience in configuring and operating network products and/or firewalls from at least one of the following vendors: Cisco or Check Point.
• Experience in troubleshooting and incident management in network and security environments.

Desirable Competence

• Experience working in large and complex IT environments.
• Experience working in classified security operations or other operations with high requirements for information security.

Assignment Information

• Start: September 2026 or as soon as possible after completed background check.
• End: latest 2028-08-31
• Location: Stockholm.
• Work Form: Hybrid, with a requirement for office presence at least 3 days per week.
