Assignment Description

For a major critical societal organization, we are looking for a Senior IT Architect with extensive experience in OT/IT convergence, mission-critical systems, and strategic architecture governance.

You will become part of an established architecture function responsible for developing and maintaining business, information, and IT architecture. The assignment involves significant responsibility for defining and driving the target architecture within areas such as operations, monitoring, maintenance, and industrial system environments.

The organization is undergoing several major change initiatives, including the modernization of business systems, integration platforms, data management, and technical platforms. The role involves translating strategic goals into concrete architectural guidelines and solutions that support the organization's long-term development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and further develop target architectures and architectural principles within the IT and OT domains.
• Ensure coherent solution architecture across complex system landscapes.
• Produce decision support materials, analyses, and technical recommendations for strategic choices.
• Lead architecture-related initiatives regarding integration, data flows, and interoperability.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with business units, technical organizations, security functions, and external vendors.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in roles such as IT Architect, Domain Architect, Solution Architect, or similar.
• Documented experience in creating target architectures, roadmaps, and strategic decision support materials.
• Experience from complex and mission-critical IT environments.
• Strong competence in OT systems, SCADA solutions, and industrial system environments.
• Extensive knowledge of network architecture, IP-based communication, and integration architecture.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from the energy, power grid, or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience with OT/IT convergence in critical or safety-critical operations.
• Knowledge of standards and regulations such as IEC 61850, NIS/NIS2, or equivalent.
• Experience with established architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or SAFe.
• Experience from technically complex and asset-heavy operations.
• Academic degree in IT, Systems Science, Computer Science, or equivalent.
