From autumn 2026, Strandängsskolan will be divided into a grades F-6 and a grades 7-9 school, with a total of approximately 530 students. The school consists of 5 work teams with a supporting resource organization to meet the needs of all students. The school is located near the sea, nature, and central Båstad. Responsibilities

As a music teacher, you will teach students in grades 7–9, as well as grade 4. You will collaborate closely with the other music teacher in grades F-6 and work together with other colleagues in the work team.

You are expected to continuously plan and evaluate your teaching and take responsibility for your pedagogical documentation regarding the students. We would like you to be solution-focused, able to take initiative, and eager to contribute to the development of our school. You have the ability to inspire and engage others while being clear and direct.

You will belong to a work team, where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for the pedagogical work.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed music teacher for grades 7–9, but the right person and musical background are also of interest. In your role, you will collaborate and work together with other educators in your subjects.

Personal suitability is of great importance. Experience is meritorious, but we naturally welcome newly graduated teachers who want to take their first steps into working life with us at Strandängsskolan.
