Job Description
Welcome to Sorgenfriskolan's after-school center! Are you interested in working in an after-school program that is actively engaged in development work? Are you curious, positive, and open-minded? Then you are the right fit for us. As a primary school teacher in the after-school center at Sorgenfriskolan, you will plan and conduct teaching, as well as assess students in our after-school program. Based on the curriculum and steering documents, we work together to create a secure environment in the after-school center aimed at strengthening our students in both their knowledge development and personal growth, while providing them with a meaningful leisure time. In the after-school center, we also strive to promote diverse contacts, social community, and strengthen group relationships. While our students are in school, you will collaborate with class teachers, and it may also become relevant for you to conduct teaching in one or more subjects during the students' school hours. Together, we create a activity that meets our students and guardians in the best possible way based on their individual needs!
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in the after-school program. It is meritorious if you have worked for at least two years as a certified teacher in the after-school center. You should have good insight and knowledge of the school's steering documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you should have good didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout the day. Your teaching is modern, and based on evidence-based research, you develop your work. With good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. To fit as a primary school teacher in the after-school center with us, it is important that you value Sorgenfriskolan's values-based work that permeates daily operations. You should also enjoy collaborating in teams both during school days and in the after-school center.

About the Workplace
Our vision: At Sorgenfriskolan, every student succeeds based on their prerequisites through high expectations, security, community, and joy! Located in the heart of central Malmö, Sorgenfriskolan is situated in a quiet and pleasant environment. The school covers grades F-9 and is two-track. It is housed in a beautiful 1920s building. Approximately 580 students attend here. The school works with collegial learning, and we have a special focus on values-based work. Teachers work in teams around each grade level, and the after-school center operates in division teams. We work hard to offer a good and varied learning environment for the students. The school day should be characterized by a permissive climate with great respect for one another. Here, the student's development is at the center, and we start from the assumption that everyone can, provided we support them in the right way.
