Lingua Montessori Schools is looking for a student assistant to support a student with special needs

Lingua Montessori Schools is a preschool to grade 6 school located in the beautiful Sankt Lars Park in Lund. The school has approximately 160 students distributed across mixed-age classes, as well as an affiliated preschool.

We are seeking a student assistant with competence in neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD/NPF) to support a student in accessing education and having a secure and functional day in both school and after-school care. The student repeatedly struggles with transitions, social interaction, self-regulation, and demanding situations, which affects both learning and attendance.

To meet the student's needs, we require an adult with a specific understanding of NPD/NPF who can provide clear structure, predictability, and adapted communication, as well as work proactively in the moment. The support is needed throughout the entire school day and at after-school care, where challenges are often greatest.

A student assistant with the right competence is deemed necessary for the student to have equal opportunities to succeed in school and for the school to fulfill its responsibilities according to the Education Act.

The position is a temporary substitute role, initially for one term, starting in August 2026. We offer a workplace where Montessori pedagogy and individual development are in focus, as well as the opportunity to work together with an engaged team of colleagues.

Experience and education regarding students with NPD/NPF are required.
