Job Description

Kirsebergsskolan is now looking for a new colleague for an exciting senior teacher assignment!

The assignment will be focused on language development. The role involves teaching in either grades F-3 or 4-6, depending on your qualifications. As a senior teacher, you are expected to take extra responsibility related to the school's commitments, serve as a role model, and share your knowledge.

Among other things, you will be offered:

  • Collaboration with five other skilled senior teachers
  • Being part of our preparatory work for the new curriculum
  • The opportunity to participate in a development initiative with the Swedish National Agency for Education regarding language-developing work in after-school centers
  • A focus on language-developing teaching

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with at least four years of well-recognized work experience as a qualified teacher. You must be qualified to teach in either grades 4-6 or F-3. It is an advantage if you have qualifications in Swedish as a Second Language (SvA).

You have previous experience in driving development processes and mentoring. For this assignment, it is an advantage if you have experience in language-developing work and solid knowledge in Swedish as a Second Language.

It is an advantage if you are analytical, as you are expected to analyze data and materials in the school development group. We also believe it is important that you are structured and have the ability to see the big picture. Kirsebergsskolan is a primary school (grades F-6) with approximately 550 students.
