Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work based on the after-school center's governing documents and the students' needs and interests. We use a clear annual calendar as a support in planning to ensure pedagogical activities grounded in chapters 1, 2, and 4 of our governing documents.

Your assignment
At our school, teachers at the after-school center have part of their position within the school's operations. Collaboration between the school and the after-school center is a crucial building block in our work regarding Safety and Well-being as well as Study Environment. However, the teacher at the after-school center has their main area of responsibility at the after-school center. A core idea in our organization is that students should have the same secure adult figures around them for as much of the day as possible. This means that the teacher at the after-school center is placed in the classroom as much as possible, where they also meet the students during the afternoons at the after-school center.
Another important task is to work towards creating a safe environment both within the after-school center and the school. This also includes providing students with meaningful breaks during the school day. Therefore, we would appreciate if you have experience in planning and conducting break-time activities.
All Teachers at the after-school center meet with school leadership every week, focusing on developing the after-school center's mission and achieving a shared understanding related to strategic focus and governing documents.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach at the after-school center, or alternatively have another teacher education and teaching certification. We would particularly welcome someone with eligibility in Physical Education, as the assignment may involve teaching PE to students in grades 1-3.
We are looking for you who work consciously to support students' development of knowledge and social skills, and offer an activity program with varied and motivating activities based on each student's specific prerequisites.
We are looking for you who want to help shape and develop an after-school center with a clear pedagogical activity in a new team. We seek driven and engaged employees who understand the importance of teamwork and want to be involved from the beginning of this development work.
You are well grounded in the school's governing documents and actively participate in collegial exchange and learning to create the best conditions for the students.
Previous work as a teacher at the after-school center and in primary school is meritorious, as is experience working with students in need of extra adjustments and special support. Knowledge and experience of low-affective handling are also seen as meritorious for the position.
As a teacher at the after-school center, you should have good communication skills, be proactive, and able to meet people. We expect you to have good IT skills and good collaboration skills towards students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great value on creating a pleasant working environment for both students and staff and expect you to share this view.

About us
The Child and Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and get to be their best. The administration's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various activities and work for coordination between school and working life.
The position is located at Tyringe School. We have close collaboration and development work with the principal's area for grades F-6 in Tyringe, Röke, Finja, and Västra Torup. In the area, we will work with three focus areas during the school year: student participation, students' linguistic ability, and safety and study environment.
Tyringe School has a fantastic location centrally placed in Tyringe with proximity to nature, which is a great asset for students' development and learning. Close to the school area are also Tyrehallen, Tyrshage, and Tyrs Hov, a sports facility with a sports hall, swimming pool, ice rink, and bowling alley under the same roof. The school is located near the train and bus station. We are a grades F-9 school with approx. 600 students, divided into two principal areas.
