About the role

We are looking for a special needs teacher (specialpedagogue) with a background as a teacher in grades 1–3 or 4–6. In this position, you will work in close collaboration with your special needs colleagues, responsible for providing special support, and together with teachers, develop the school's learning environments. You will collaborate daily with teachers, resource persons, and after-school center staff, and you will be part of a teacher work team. You will also be part of the school's Student Health Team and work closely with the school management. The school uses the Prorenata system.

Good relationships with students and colleagues are key success factors for us – all students should feel safe and have their voices heard! As a special needs teacher, you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for inspiring, stimulating, setting demands, and making it possible for every student to develop based on their prerequisites and achieve good results.

You are well-grounded in current curricula and work consciously with students' influence and participation in their learning. Your work is based on a scientific foundation where you take significant responsibility for the school's systematic quality work (SKA) towards established goals and for pedagogical development.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for you who have a degree in special needs teaching and experience as a teacher in primary school. You are passionate about ensuring all students succeed and use your competencies to develop our learning environments (in your own teaching and as support to colleagues). You are responsible regarding the administrative work related to special support. We would appreciate it if you were interested in having some teaching duties within adapted primary school in your role.

In your work, you have a clear student focus, see the competent student, are engaged in pedagogical development work, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. With your drive and commitment, you inspire both students and teachers.

You are clear, goal-oriented, and value having a good relationship with students, parents, and colleagues. In your work, you are positive and engaged, have good collaboration skills, and are comfortable communicating both verbally and in writing. Personal suitability is highly valued.

About the employment

Before employment with us, we will ask you to present an extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register. The extract we require is "School or preschool". You request the extract yourself via the Police Authority's website: Criminal Record Register - Request Extract (https://polisen.se).

Once you have your extract, you present it to the recruiting manager. The fastest way to get your extract is to use the e-service and order it online with BankId.

You must also show a passport or a national ID card issued by the police during the interview.

About the workplace

Tolvåkerskolan F-6 is a smaller school for grades F-6 located in central Löddeköpinge. The unit also includes Tolvåkerskolan Adapted Primary School with a shared principal. We have close collaboration between the school forms. We work with the goal that all students should be inspired and challenged based on their prerequisites. They should feel the joy of succeeding! We do this by creating well-being and developing every student into an independent and curious person with the opportunity to reach knowledge goals.
