Job Description
Would you like to try working in a central function with a focus on sales? Then you should apply for the temporary position as Sales Coordinator.
ICA Special handles the purchasing and sales of specialty goods in all ICA formats (Maxi, Kvantum, Supermarket, Nära) in Sweden. ICA Special is also responsible for the results and operations of Maxi Special AB, an fully integrated chain with 97 units operated under the ICA Maxi Stormarknad brand with approximately 850 employees.
ICA Special has a strong market position and is the market leader in the grocery retail sector. We are now looking for a Sales Coordinator who will collaborate closely with Maxi Special stores.
This is your future job
As a Sales Coordinator, you will drive our seasonal processes for Maxi Special by coordinating central and unique special themes. You will develop activities to support the goals in the commercial plan for Maxi Special.
You will support our store employees with daily challenges related to sales and sales planning. You will be responsible for managing our forum with sales managers and play a key role in providing stores with relevant information in collaboration with the rest of the organization by managing our sales protocol.
As an employee in the Sales & Operations department for Maxi Special, you can expect exciting and varied work. You will work in a team with fantastic colleagues where we together support Maxi Special stores in achieving their set goals through effective sales planning.
Who are you?
You have an aptitude for taking a strategic and analytical perspective, can see the big picture, drive change, and understand the consequences of various actions. You are independent and have the ability to lead yourself towards set goals, seeking answers and facts.
You have strong social skills and are good at creating and developing good relationships, fostering engagement and alignment. You have the ability to look up and see things from a holistic perspective for the benefit of ICA. You are meticulous, structured, and have high ambition and drive, giving you strong delivery capacity and momentum. With a positive attitude and credibility, you are clear, persuasive, and confident in your communication.
Your profile:
- You have work experience from retail, preferably within ICA.
- You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365.
- You are business-oriented with commercial drive.
- You have the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- You have experience with what drives sales and what influences the consumer at the moment of purchase.
- Since the role involves many interfaces, high collaboration skills and good communication skills are crucial.
- Knowledge of ICA's organization and a broad network within ICA is advantageous.
- Very good knowledge of efficient store operations.
- Very good knowledge of what drives profitability and store income statements.
- Knowledge of presentation techniques and communication styles.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
