Our parish is located 15 km south of Malmö. Here you will find nine churches and approximately 8,500 parish members. Our work team consists of 25 employees. We are accustomed to collaborating and helping each other. We do this not only during regular operations but also for events such as school Christmas plays and birthday celebrations for jubilees, where many hands make light work.

Tasks for the Cemetery Assistant/Administrator include, among others:

  • Handling ongoing administration of burial rights and issuing burial certificates.
  • Managing cemetery maintenance agreements, maintenance measures, and invoicing.
  • Diary registration.
  • Certain financial administration tasks.
  • Covering the front desk during vacations, leave, and short-term sick leave. This involves handling routine tasks such as answering phones, booking baptisms, weddings, and funerals, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for visitors to the parish activities.
  • Mail handling.

Tasks for the Communicator include, among others:

  • Developing and managing the parish's information work.
  • Budget responsibility for information activities.
  • Managing the parish's advertising in consultation with operational managers.
  • Responsible for layout work, as well as finalizing and distributing posters, information leaflets, and the parish magazine.
  • Managing the parish's website and social media channels.
  • Certain financial administration tasks.
  • Taking minutes at staff meetings.

Tasks for the HR role include, among others:

  • Personnel administration.
  • Support to line managers, including scheduling.
  • Preparing materials for policy documents and ensuring documents are up to date.
  • Contact with trade unions, responsible for MBL (Consultation Act) negotiations and discussions.
  • Coordinating with occupational health services.

The position is newly established and will be evaluated and shaped over time.

We assume that you are service-oriented, structured, flexible, and have a collaborative spirit. It is desirable that you are a member of the Church of Sweden and share the church's values. Experience with cemetery administration and the cemetery program FAS-kyrkogård, as well as knowledge of the Church of Sweden's operations, is meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
