About the clinics at Globen

The Affective Clinic receives patients for psychiatric assessment, investigation, and treatment of depressive disorders and bipolar syndrome. The Affective Clinic – which will change its name to Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Globen 1 and take on a broader mandate – is located in shared premises with the Clinic for Young Adults, under joint management, at Globen.

The Clinic for Young Adults is a clinic that works diagnostic-independently with the investigation and treatment of young adults between the ages of 18 and 23. We work based on regional care programs with a broad perspective. Collaboration with family, relatives, as well as care partners, social services, job centers for young adults, and city districts is of great importance. The clinic is HBTQI-certified.

We are organized into several multiprofessional treatment teams consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, administrators, counselors, and rehabilitation coordinators. Our clinics offer a broad and varied range of care with different treatment methods.

Your role

As a psychologist with us, you will work with:

• Assessment and psychological treatment of patients with complex psychiatric issues.
• Group therapy and psychoeducational interventions.
• Collaboration in teams regarding the patient's care planning and treatment.
• Active participation in development work and implementation of evidence-based methods.
• Working with neuropsychiatric investigations based on interest and need.

Our expectations of you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed psychologist.
• Has a genuine interest in psychiatric care.
• Has experience with CBT, DBT, and/or neuropsychiatric investigations.
• Thrives working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.
• Has a good ability to meet patients with varying needs.
• Is confident in your professional role, structured, and contributes to a good working climate.
• Is confident in your professional role, is structured, and wants to contribute to a good work environment and the clinic's continued development.

• A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional licensure. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
