Limhamnshus Industri continues to grow and is now looking for a business-driven Export Sales Director who wants to lead and develop the group's export business in markets outside the Nordics. The group generates over 1 billion SEK in revenue in 2025 and is a market leader in several segments, including floor and roof paints. Limhamnshus Industri has its own production, development, and distribution.

Here you will have a central role in building and driving the export business, establishing new markets, and creating profitable growth in an entrepreneurial environment with high ambitions.

About the role

As Export Sales Director, you are responsible for leading and developing the export business and its employees to achieve the company's growth goals. You drive business development and sales in markets outside the Nordics, develop and manage the existing customer base together with your team, and identify new strategic partners, customers, and agents. The role has a clear focus on strategy, structure, and business acumen.

You work closely with the Head of Sales and collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and the rest of the sales organization to ensure high customer satisfaction and a competitive customer experience internationally. The role includes personnel responsibility, and you currently lead a team consisting of one salesperson, with opportunities to grow as the business develops.

The location is Fritsla outside Borås or alternatively Gothenburg. If located in Gothenburg, presence in Fritsla is expected for about two days per week, while the rest of the time is based from the Gothenburg office. The same arrangement applies to several key functions within the organization.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the export business and its employees
  • Analyze markets, define sales strategies, and translate them into concrete plans and activities
  • Ensure that sales and growth targets in markets outside the Nordics are met
  • Drive new customer acquisition and establish new strategic partners, distributors, and agents
  • Develop and manage existing key customers with a focus on long-term growth and profitability
  • Coach salespeople and set clear goals and KPIs at individual and group levels
  • Ensure structured use of CRM, pipeline, and forecasts
  • Drive collaboration between sales, marketing, supply chain, and business development

We are looking for someone who

  • Has at least 3 years of experience in export and KAM sales, preferably with elements of business development
  • Has experience leading salespeople
  • Is accustomed to working structured with CRM, KPIs, and sales follow-up
  • Has a clear business drive and good analytical skills
  • Is confident as a leader and skilled at creating engagement and performance
  • Thrives in a changing and entrepreneurial environment
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

Experience with B2B and private label, as well as sales to export partners, customers, or distributors within the paint and construction industry, is advantageous. Additional language skills are advantageous. Adequate post-secondary education is a plus, but professional experience weighs heaviest.
