Spyken Upper Secondary School has approximately 1,200 students distributed across the Arts Programme, Humanities Programme, Science Programme, and Social Sciences Programme. We are keen on ensuring that both staff and students feel involved in everything related to the operations.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher at Spyken, you will teach Swedish and Religious Education. Your responsibilities include planning, conducting lessons, evaluation, mentoring, and other standard duties for teachers.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in teaching and wants to develop teaching at Spyken together with our students and colleagues. You have a teaching license in Swedish and Religious Education for upper secondary school. The position is a fixed-term appointment for the academic year 2026/2027. The workload varies throughout the year between 50–100%.

You have excellent knowledge of your subjects and are engaged in teaching and learning. You have experience working towards set goals, are proactive and flexible, and collaborate easily. You are a structured and positive leader who sets clear boundaries and has the ability to build good relationships with students and colleagues. We place great importance on personal qualities and value your ability to meet students based on their knowledge and needs.

The Education Administration is responsible for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, adult education, international primary school, and mother tongue activities, and has just over 1,200 employees.
