About the role

Affärsgymnasiet Gävle is looking for an inspiring upper secondary school teacher in Social Studies, History, and Religion on a full-time basis to strengthen our team and offer our students a challenging and inspiring education.

We are looking for someone who:

• Wants to teach your subject areas in an inspiring way and has solid subject knowledge in Social Studies, History, and Religion.

• Is engaged with Social Studies, History, and the role of Religion in society, and communicates this to the students.

• Keeps up to date with the latest within your subject area and wants to teach in a realistic and subject-integrated manner.

• Wants to create inspiring and adapted teaching that challenges and develops the students, while building trusting relationships with both students and colleagues.

• Plans, documents, and conducts your teaching in accordance with the guidelines regulated by the steering documents for upper secondary schools in the Swedish National Agency for Education's course plans.

Qualifications

You have a teaching degree and teaching certification, as well as solid subject knowledge in or a combination of Social Studies, History, and Religion.
