NOFO Hotel & Wine Bar is a family-owned hotel located in the most vibrant part of Södermalm. We are passionate about design and service – and the latter would not be possible without our wonderful employees. NOFO Hotel is part of WordHotels Crafted, an association of carefully selected hotels where first-class service, style, and comfort are in focus. In addition to NOFO, other Stockholm hotels are part of WordHotels Crafted, such as The Winery, Kung Carl, Hotel Franz, and Hotel Ruth.
Our wine bar focuses on serving unique and carefully selected wines from small-scale producers, local beer, and innovative food made with love for locally produced and seasonal ingredients. In the wine bar, as well as in all other parts of the hotel, we always try to do that little extra so that our guests feel special.
Personal Profile
We are looking for you who are passionate about meeting new people and who can master the art of creating unique service experiences. You have a positive attitude, are genuine and accommodating towards guests and colleagues, and thrive working at a fast pace. When problems arise, they are solved – which requires you to be attentive and humble regarding what the guest wants. You are driven, used to taking personal responsibility, and constantly striving to develop service, guest experiences, and hospitality. You handle stressful situations with a smile. We are looking for you with previous experience from service roles, preferably from hotels or restaurants. If your heart beats a little extra for Södermalm, that is also a big plus.
What is your role?
The duties include welcoming guests and being available for them. The reception is the heart of the hotel, and you are the first person the guest meets when they arrive. You follow the department's checklist and are responsible for ensuring all tasks are performed during your shift. This includes check-in and check-out, booking, and all the wonderful things that happen in a reception; providing directions, giving tips about restaurants and sights, etc.
You are also the last person the guest meets before departure, so ensuring the guest has had a good stay is of great importance as we want all our guests to leave NOFO with the desire to return. Good computer skills are a requirement, and previous experience with Mews is a plus. Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
The Position
Position: 75%, with the possibility of 100%
Start date: As soon as possible – we are interviewing continuously
The position involves varying working hours during days, evenings, and weekends.
