The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, after-school centers (fritidshem), primary school, upper secondary school, as well as adapted primary and upper secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees across 40 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four upper secondary schools. The Role and Responsibilities

Trädgårdsstadsskolan is now looking for an engaged After-School Center Teacher (Fritidshemslärare). You enjoy sports and see the benefits of outdoor activities. You will belong to and work in one of our F-3 work teams.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with classroom teachers during school hours for part of the day.
  • In collaboration with other staff, being responsible for and developing the pedagogical activities during break and after-school hours.
  • Developing after-school center activities.

What We Offer You

We place great emphasis on the students' entire school day, promoting all-day learning. During school hours, you spend part of the day with the students in the classroom, collaborating with the teacher. However, your primary focus is to develop break-time activities and the content of the after-school center program. In the afternoons, you work at the after-school center with great enthusiasm in a creative environment.

Who You Are

Requirements: We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher for after-school centers and who feel confident in your role at the after-school center.

You have the desire and ability to carry out activities together with other colleagues both during and after the school day.

You have extensive experience working in schools as well as in after-school centers.

You are relationship-building.

You are creative!

You are flexible and solution-focused.

Merits: We consider it a merit if you have experience working in Vklass and other digital environments. We also appreciate that you have good experience working with visual supports in your teaching.

We are looking for a person who easily creates and maintains good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are creative and contribute to developing the activities in close collaboration with other educators. This is evident both in planning the activities and in solving everyday situations that arise.
