Our school is characterized by a unique environment with several different buildings spread over a large, active schoolyard, creating a safe and familiar "small school in a big school" feeling.

Our school is currently facing an exciting change as we will be reorganized into a dedicated F–6 school starting from the 2026–2027 academic year. This means a fresh start for us as a lower and middle school with a focus on building a fantastic foundation for our younger students.

Your role

Are you looking for a varied and dynamic 100% position where you can combine the joy of movement with theoretical teaching and relationship building? Then we have the role for you!

We are looking for a certified teacher for a combined position that spans several exciting areas in our F–6 operations:

• Physical Education and Health (50%): You are responsible for teaching PE and health for our students in grades 1 and 3.
• Class Teaching: One day a week, you step into one of our grade 2 classes to teach.
• Well-established Recess Activities: The remainder of the position involves driving and further developing our already successful and security-building recess activities on our large schoolyard.

Here you get a role with great variation where your ability to create safety and structure is evident both in the gym, in the classroom, and during recess.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for you who have a teaching certificate with eligibility to teach Physical Education and Health, as well as eligibility for teaching theoretical subjects in lower secondary school. It is highly meritorious if you have eligibility in Swedish and/or mathematics and Social Studies.

In this broad role, it is crucial that you have a very good ability to build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues alike. Since the position is divided across different arenas during the school week, you need to be flexible, structured, and confident in your leadership.

You have a strong commitment to movement and play, and you see recess as a pedagogical asset to promote safety, inclusion, and study environment. You conduct language-developing teaching and have the ability to adapt your pedagogy so that all students, based on their individual prerequisites, can reach the goals and feel the joy of movement.
