Job Responsibilities

In your role as a teacher at Högsätra School, you are responsible for making education accessible so that all students succeed, as well as leading and stimulating their learning. You base your approach on the students' needs and interests when involving them in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of the teaching. We prefer that you hold a teaching license.

You take active ownership to create and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. At our school, dialogue and learning are central to achieving our goals, and it is natural for everyone to collaborate and share responsibility for tasks. As a newly graduated teacher or new to the school, you will step directly into a context where you receive strong support from your closest colleagues. In your teaching, you use digital tools and resources, including Classroom and the school platform Schoolsoft. You participate in our joint development work regarding teaching, are part of a subject team, and collaborate closely with your subject colleagues. You will teach chemistry and biology for all grades in the lower secondary school (grades 7-9). You will also serve as a class mentor together with an experienced colleague.

Qualifications

• Licensed teacher in chemistry and biology for grades 7-9

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.

The municipality applies individual salary setting. Start date 2026-08-12 or as agreed. The position is a fixed-term employment until 2027-01-11 and is full-time.
