Art Teacher at IES Bromma

IES Bromma is a school for grades 4–9 with 945 students and 100 employees. We are a bilingual school following the Swedish curriculum. Your own teaching as a teacher takes place in Swedish, but between colleagues, we speak English.

Who are you?

We are looking for a qualified Art teacher with a teaching license for a permanent position in grades 4–9, with a start date in August 2026.

You are passionate about your subject and driven by challenging all students, regardless of background, to do their very best. You have documented experience working with art education and hopefully hold the relevant qualifications in the subject.

You have the tools to create a good learning environment in the classroom, and your clear leadership and teaching style contribute to good goal achievement. You can differentiate your teaching to reach students in need of adjustments and support, in collaboration with our student health team and special education teachers. Continuous feedback to students and guardians regarding progress and areas for development is a given and part of your teaching.

As a teacher, you are flexible and have an easy time collaborating. We hope that you see the whole picture in the student's learning and value good relationships with both your students and colleagues. Mentoring will be part of the job duties.
