Helenelundsskolan is a grades 1-9 school located in Southern Sollentuna. The school has over 1,000 students, and we have 120 employees. Helenelundsskolan's vision is: We develop the future, with the motto do good, feel good, develop! You will land softly with us!

This is a permanent position at 100%, starting in August 2026 or according to agreement.

Responsibilities

As a lower secondary school teacher in mathematics and chemistry at Helenelundsskolan, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in your subjects. You work closely with your subject team and are part of a work team where collaboration, collegial learning, and joint development of teaching are central.

You actively contribute to the school's development work and participate in both work team meetings and subject team meetings. The role also includes mentorship together with a colleague. You meet students with different backgrounds and prerequisites and create accessible, inclusive, and language-developing teaching where all students are given the opportunity to succeed. Mentorship is included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are an engaged and independent teacher with clear pedagogical leadership. You create safety, structure, and a conducive learning environment in the classroom and plan your teaching based on the students' needs and the school's governing documents.

You are relationship-building and establish trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You work in a structured manner, are open-minded and unpretentious, and always place the students' knowledge development and well-being at the center.

You are goal- and result-oriented and have a solution-focused ability that enables you to meet students with different needs in a constructive way. You thrive in a work team where teaching is developed together and where collaboration is one of the school's greatest strengths.

Requirements

• Teacher certification with eligibility in mathematics and chemistry for lower secondary school
• Experience teaching mathematics and/or chemistry at the lower secondary level

Merits

• Eligibility in additional natural science subjects for lower secondary school
