Who are we?

Råsslaskolan is a well-functioning school for grades 4-9, located in a beautiful natural setting in Kolmården, just outside Norrköping, with good train and bus connections. Here at the school, 510 students and 40 teachers work together with the rest of the school staff to create a secure environment that encourages learning.

We are organized into grade-level teams and divided into two school units, grades 4-6 and 7-9. These units collaborate closely as a single school regarding prioritized goals, educational initiatives, support structures, pedagogical forums, subject meetings, and exchanges between teams.

The school is led by the principal together with the deputy principal. In the 2025/2026 academic year, approximately 90% of our ninth-grade students achieved eligibility for upper secondary school.

We are now looking for an engaged intermediate school teacher for a fixed-term position who wants to help develop our operations and contribute to our students' knowledge development and sense of security.

Your responsibilities

As a teacher for grades 4-6, you are responsible for teaching and planning in your subjects, which are Swedish and Social Studies (SO).

You follow up on students' development and goal fulfillment in collaboration with the team and the school's student health team.

Mentorship in grade 6 is also included in the position.

You actively participate in the school's and team's various joint tasks, contributing your own ideas, experience, and engagement.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility to teach Swedish and Social Studies for grades 4-6.

You have experience in teaching and good subject knowledge. We would appreciate it if you had experience working as a mentor and good knowledge of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPF).

You see school development as a natural part of your work and feel confident in your role as a teacher. You have a desire to develop yourself in your work, are well-versed in the steering documents, and have experience working with digital tools.

You are a clear leader and find it easy to build good relationships and trust with parents, students, and colleagues.

You are calm and stable and have a flexible working style where you adapt easily to changed circumstances and take great responsibility for your tasks.

You have the ability to follow and assess students' development of knowledge and skills in a varied way and, in collaboration with the student, develop these further.
