Villa Tollare is one of our modern elderly care facilities within the Stora Sköndal Foundation, beautifully located by the Lännersta Sound. We offer high-quality care and support with a focus on creating security and continuity in a vibrant environment. Here, we work together in multidisciplinary teams to provide the best care and service. The team includes care staff, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and activity coaches. Since Stora Sköndal’s preschool is located in the same building as Villa Tollare, children’s laughter is always nearby, and we actively promote intergenerational exchange for our residents.

Your Role

In this role, you are part of the elderly care rehabilitation team. Together with the physiotherapist, you are responsible for meeting the residents' needs for rehabilitation and assistive devices. You identify each resident's rehabilitation needs and assess their ability to carry out personal care and activities. Interventions are planned in consultation with the resident, as well as in close collaboration with nurses and care staff.

You also mentor other employees regarding transfers and the use of assistive devices. The position offers varied work where you play a key role in providing residents with security and a meaningful life.

As this is a role with significant autonomy, we expect you to work independently, have a structured approach to work, and possess strong initiative.

The work schedule is daytime hours, Monday – Friday, at 100%.

You are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in elderly care or geriatrics is preferred. As a person, you are empathetic and flexible, seeing opportunities rather than obstacles. You work independently with a structured approach and have strong problem-solving skills.

You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%) with a 6-month probation period. Start date according to agreement.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) must be presented before employment. We prefer this to be shown digitally, for example via Kivra.
