About the School
International English School (IES) in Solna is a compulsory school covering grades 4–9 with approximately 700 students.

The Team
You will join a teaching team where time is allocated for jointly developing teaching methods and classroom leadership. As a teacher with us, you find it fun, stimulating, and rewarding to teach students from various parts of the world, giving each student the opportunity to develop based on their own prerequisites and abilities.
Together with your colleagues, you create the conditions for students' knowledge development to meet the goals of the curriculum.
Qualifications
We are currently looking for a certified compulsory school teacher with subject eligibility in Science (NO) for grades 4–6. Eligibility in other subjects is an advantage. The position is a full-time (100%) temporary vacancy for the academic year 2026/27.
You have a positive view of humanity and the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
Your responsibilities include:
- The position includes teaching in Science and Technology for grades 4–6, as well as support in the Science lab at the lower secondary level.
- You plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching, working to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- You take responsibility for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' knowledge development.
- You take initiative and have clear leadership in the classroom.
- You are clear and precise in your communication and have the ability to motivate and inspire students to acquire new knowledge.
- You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
- You have good knowledge of ICT as a pedagogical tool.
