Do you want to make a difference for students every day? We are looking for a driven school social worker who wants to contribute to safety, good relationships, and a school where students get the best possible conditions to succeed both socially and academically.

As a school social worker, you are an important part of both the school's student health services and the school social team. You work at the individual, group, and organizational levels with a focus on preventive and promoting measures. You work actively with students' social skills and can lead student groups with the aim of strengthening interaction, responsibility, and safety. You observe both individuals and groups, organize and support safety-building activities, for example during breaks, and collaborate closely with school staff, student health services, and guardians with the student's best interests in focus.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a degree in social work, behavioral sciences, or social pedagogy, or other education suitable for the work.
  • is confident in meetings with students, guardians, and staff in various situations.
  • has a clear and relational leadership style where you build trust while setting boundaries.
  • is driven, proactive, and wants to be an active part of the school's preventive and promoting work.
  • has good collaboration skills and can contribute a psychosocial perspective to the student health work.
  • is flexible, solution-focused, and has the student's best interests as the starting point in your work.

About the role

In the role, you need to be able to switch between planned interventions and situations that arise in school life. You are a visible adult in the operation and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and learning school environment. Personal suitability is crucial for the position.
