About the workplace and role

In preparation for autumn, we are looking for support assistants for our LSS housing in Lund Municipality. Our housing facilities consist of both group homes and service apartments.

At our housing facilities, you will meet users with varying support needs. You support our users with individually adapted assistance, such as shopping, cooking, nursing care, cleaning, and leisure activities. Through pedagogical support, alternative communication, and care, you and your work team work to provide users with good living conditions and independence.

We are looking for someone who is sensitive and flexible in identifying the individual needs of users. We would like you to thrive in a dynamic work environment with a strong focus on motivation work and user participation.

The duties also include developing implementation plans, documenting, and conducting regular evaluations. As a contact person, you will collaborate and communicate with parents, relatives, guardians/administrators, and colleagues.

About us

LSS Housing is divided into 22 managerial areas. Each manager is responsible for two to three group homes or service apartments in their area. In addition to the urban area of Lund, we have housing in Södra Sandby, Stångby, and Veberöd.

Support assistants and support aides work at our housing facilities. There is a pedagogical coordinator per area who works with a holistic view and the quality of the pedagogical work. We also have support pedagogues who work close to the users while supervising staff. Additionally, coordinators, unit administrators, and licensed personnel work here.

Qualifications

• Approved grades from the Care and Nursing program, Child and Youth program, Society and Behavioral Science, or other education that the employer deems equivalent are meritorious.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Knowledge and experience of low-affective handling and clarifying pedagogy.
• Basic skills in digital work tools.
• Experience and knowledge of nursing care.
• A driver's license is required for some units.
