RESPONSIBILITIES

The Individual and Family Care department is now seeking a social worker specializing in child welfare, part of the Unit for Children, Families, and Adults. The unit is responsible for all authority-based decision-making, including matters concerning children and young people, family law, violence in close relationships, adults with harmful substance use and/or addiction and/or mental health issues, as well as financial assistance. The unit consists of 20 employees, all of whom are experienced social workers with high competence in authority-based decision-making.

The Child Investigation team consists of 8 social workers.

We are now looking for a social secretary to work with child investigations. You will work on investigating the needs of children and their parents for interventions (ages 0–18), both under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU). Your main task involves conducting investigations as well as follow-ups and reviews of interventions. The investigation work includes collaboration with the child's network and motivational work with the family. The work is characterized by good treatment, well-founded decisions, and high legal security, involving great variety and change. We strive for the involvement of children and parents in investigations and follow-ups. Support is provided by a Senior Social Secretary.

Ambitious and engaged social workers work at the unit, and leadership is based on trust. We view competence development as a natural part of the work, which is why external supervision is provided continuously. We work based on the BBIC model and use the business system Lifecare.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a social work degree and an interest in and experience with authority-based decision-making. You are well acquainted with the legislation and regulations governing social services work. You are interested in staying updated on issues related to the field, and it is important to you that the work performed has the desired effect. You see it as a given to work goal-oriented both at the individual level and from an organizational perspective.

A B-category driver's license is required.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.

We report salaries for the 10th and 90th percentiles: 35,000–48,000 SEK/month. The salary range is stated in accordance with current regulations on salary transparency.
