Social Secretary for Financial Assistance – Replacement for Parental Leave

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our social secretary is going on parental leave, and we are now looking for a replacement for a permanent position.

As a social secretary for financial assistance, you will investigate the right to financial assistance and follow up on cases to support our clients towards self-sufficiency. Your work will focus on helping individuals achieve an independent life through close collaboration with other authorities and units within the municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or another relevant education that the employer deems equivalent. Education in social law is a requirement. Previous experience of investigative work within social services is meritorious, but we also value your personal suitability and your commitment. Personal suitability may be decisive.

You have good knowledge of current legislation and society's functions in general. You are interested in labor market issues and rehabilitation and have the ability to find creative solutions. With a positive view of people, you have the ability to meet different people in different life situations.

We are looking for you who take responsibility for your tasks and have a good ability to structure your work. You express yourself well, both orally and in writing in Swedish, and preferably in English. You have a good ability to listen to different perspectives and collaborate with different operations and people.

You are interested in learning and developing in your work and take personal responsibility for your knowledge development. You are computer literate and have documentation skills. Experience with social service operation systems, especially TRESERVA, is meritorious. A B driver's license is required as travel may occur in the service.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start date: Start date is by agreement.
