Several professional groups within the school health service collaborate to support students in school, as well as their development, learning, and health. The central student support includes medical, psychological, and special pedagogical competencies.

The Language Unit is a central department that organizes study guidance and mother-tongue instruction across the entire Education Sector.
The Language Unit is also the department that receives newly arrived students to the municipality, conducts assessments, and works on development initiatives to increase the integration of newly arrived students in schools.

Your future tasks
Study guidance takes place before, during, or after the student's school hours. The study guide should act as a bridge between the mother tongue and the Swedish language to support the students' development and learning in collaboration with other school staff.
The role also involves
Being an adult role model and a secure person that students and guardians can rely on. You follow the student in their regular class, providing support where the regular teacher cannot reach. The regular teacher plans and conducts the lesson, while you provide support and teach in the mother tongue. You are flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
Who are you?
We are primarily looking for you who have documented good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, equivalent to SVA B. You take responsibility for your tasks and are accommodating in your interactions. Since this position involves working in various contexts, you must have good collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships. You have good skills in working systematically, planning, and prioritizing your tasks. Previous experience is an advantage.
We are primarily looking for someone who can be on-site, as one of the students (out of two) is young and has less computer experience. Therefore, remote support is difficult.
