Several professional groups within the school health service collaborate to provide students with support in school and to support their development, learning, and health. The central student support includes medical, psychological, and special pedagogical competencies.

The Language Unit is a central department that organizes study guidance and mother tongue instruction throughout the Education Sector.
The Language Unit is also the department that receives newly arrived students in the municipality, conducts assessments, and works with development initiatives to increase the integration of newly arrived students in schools.
Your future responsibilities
As a mother tongue teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up, and assessing knowledge based on the curriculum and knowledge requirements. Digital tools are a natural part of the teaching and of the documentation regarding the student's knowledge development. From grade 6, students receive grades in the subject of mother tongue.
Teaching may take place at one or several schools; schedules and student materials may change during the school year.
Who are you?
We are primarily looking for you who have documented good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing, equivalent to SVA B. You take responsibility for your tasks and are accommodating in your interactions. Since this position involves working in different contexts, you must have good collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships. You have a good ability to work systematically, plan, and prioritize your tasks.
The position currently includes one lesson of mother tongue instruction per week plus planning time. Previous experience is an advantage. We are only looking for candidates who can be on-site.
